Our systems are trusted by the U.S. Navy for use in all underwater conditions.
Since 1973, Sonatech has been the acoustic systems division of the vertically-integrated Channel Technologies Group, using piezoelectric materials and transducers from our other business units to create cutting edge custom sonar equipment and underwater navigation systems. The U.S. Navy trusts CTG technology, which is why our products are deployed on almost every class of U.S. Naval vessel in commission today. We customize our solutions to fit the needs of every customer and rely on decades of knowledge from the three retired U.S. Navy Admirals on our advisory board to anticipate future capability demands for our underwater systems.
In addition to our work with the U.S. Navy, we provide solutions to a wide range of government and commercial clients around the world. We partner with customers to take their projects all the way from concept to completion, drawing on the specific strengths of each of our business units to make sure every single component is designed for optimal performance.
Our 130,000 sq. ft. Santa Barbara facility is ISO 9001:2008 certified and has secret, top secret clearance and SCIF areas for designing, prototyping, testing and manufacturing our sonar, tracking, homing, docking and range systems along with our other custom acoustic solutions. We strive for perfection in customer satisfaction through continual improvement of our quality management system, and are always looking for new ways to improve design and manufacturing processes and procedures.
When a system is ready for delivery, our deployment team will help install the finished product and provide any necessary training to help you execute your mission. At CTG, we make the invisible visible.
